Add Blank Pages
Insert blank pages into a PDF locally in your browser.
Your files stay on your device. Processing happens locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
How it works
- Select your PDF — drag it into the drop zone or click to browse.
- Choose where the blank pages should go.
- Insert the blank pages.
- Download the extended PDF.
Why local processing?
Add Blank Pages processes your file inside your browser, on your own device. Your document is not uploaded to our servers. The browser may download code needed to run the tool, but those requests do not contain your file.
Check it yourself: open your browser’s network tab while a file is being processed — your document never appears in any request.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the PDF uploaded to insert pages?
- No. The insertion is performed by the in-browser PDF engine; your document remains on your device throughout, which you can confirm in the network tab.
- Any size or page-count limits?
- Each file can be up to 200 MB. Processing happens in your browser and also depends on available memory. Large or complex files may be slow or exceed your device’s resources even below this limit.
- Can I use it on GDPR-relevant paperwork?
- With no server-side processing anywhere in the flow, the paperwork stays on your machine — inserting pages is as private as doing it in a desktop app.
- Where can blank pages be inserted?
- Anywhere — before the first page, between any two pages, or at the end.
- Do the existing pages change?
- No. They are copied over unchanged; only the new blank pages are added.
